The Guardener

The time has come to no longer give away your power. You are the guardian and gardner of the life you want. The seeds of your dream were planted long ago. Youth was the germination and first sprout. Rumi noted the struggle of the seed against harsh soil, wind, and rain. So become a guardener. Pull the weeds, put up fences, feed the soil, water, sun, shade. Make the seed know its worth and take away its struggle. Be a guardener because you are a seed and are being tended. Don't let foxes steal your eggs. Don't let floods wash away your work. Don't let negligence and drought destroy what could have been. So that the only water left is your tears of grief. Water your plants with your labor. Work steadily. A Guardener doesn't rush.
